So what do you call a series of sex toys that are shaped like adorable, adorable monsters? Well, obviously, you call it Cute Little Fuckers. And with that, we have a website launch. We now have cutelittlefuckers.com. If you want to be really in the loop, toss your email in there. You can also learn nitty gritty details. So head onto cutelittlefuckers.com, keep watching Loud and Queer, and thanks for being on this journey with me!
I finally honed in on our idea. It's going to make us totally different from all other sex toy companies. We are creating sex toys that are shaped like adorable monsters. These are going to make sex toys that are much more approachable to anybody whose exploring parts of themselves that they're not used to. And it's also going to be done in a way that is outside of the typical gender dynamic norms.
It's gonna be made especially with trans and queer bodies in mind. Not exclusively, it's really gonna be useful for all bodies out there. And that's really what I want: all bodies.
So I'm starting a sex toy company thinking where to start, and I'm like: “Oh, of course! I just need to order a bunch of vibrators from alibaba.com.
So I order a ton of vibrators to my house and quickly realize this is not the way to move forward. If I am going to meet one of my main criterias of making things that make people feel awesome about themselves, I am talking to you, I am talking to my friends, I am talking to my friends of friends, I am talking to strangers on the internet who are just generally enthused about this to learn what sort of sex toys you want and about your experiences.
So if you are interested in sharing that information, please reach out to me! You can find me on Facebook, Stephen Tranovich, firstname.lastname@example.org. Hearing from you is how we're gonna make something really, really phenomenal together.
One, is that it makes people feel good about themselves, and I don't just mean good on their body, I mean really good about who they are and how they're expressing themselves in the world.
I also want this company to be sustainable for the environment. I don't want just more crap out there polluting this planet. I want things that are good for people and things that are good for the earth.
I also want this to maintain queerdo owned. And that means keeping it in our community so that we can serve our community. Probably means no venture backing, 'cause venture backing basically means giving your company ownership to a bunch of old, cis, white dudes, which is exactly the problem with this planet.
Lastly, I want to see if we can do this by Valentine’s Day crowdfunding launch. Which is really soon.
These videos are snapshots into the thoughts, processes, and adventures happening behind the scenes to bring Cute Little Fuckers to life. They cover all sorts of things, from how scary starting a company really is, to how to make your own sex toy, and pretty soon Kickstarter video updates so you can watch the process go from an idea to in your hands!
What a wild adventure this is! Starting a company is weird, and starting a sex toy company is doubly weird!
